Greek Musical Culture and Education (Distance Learning Educational Program)

The educational program “Greek Musical Culture and Education” is designed for researchers, educators, artists, as well as those involved in the fields of art, culture, and education. The teaching modules are enriched with audiovisual material and ethnographic examples, which aim not only to consolidate the material but also to familiarize the trainees with the methodology of ethnomusicological and anthropological research and writing. The objectives of the educational subject are multiple, such as the development of critical skills, the transfer of theoretical and practical expertise in matters of art, culture, and education, and raising awareness on broader social issues related to culture and cultural policies, etc. For participation in the Program, trainees are not required to have specialized musical knowledge.
